http://classes.archerelementary.com  - This is a website with a list of recommended websites for parents to use at home with their students.  From here, each classroom and teacher have their own page, so you can find any links that your child's teacher has posted specifically for the class.




 

http://raz-kids.com/ - This is a website with tons of books at your student’s own reading level.  They can access it at home, by typing in their teacher’s user name.  If they do not remember the name, you can look at your child’s Report Card to find it.


 


http://pearsonsuccessnet.com - This is the math website for our curriculum. Students can use it to practice concepts that their teachers have assigned to them or review videos explaining new concepts.  They can access it at home; if they do not remember the name, you can look at your child’s Report Card.



http://www.handwritingworksheets.com/ - this will help your students with handwriting; you must have a printer to print out the handwriting templates that this website will create for you.




http://teacher.scholastic.com/activities/storystarters/ - this tool will help you and your child come up with fun, creative topics to write about.  You can write on the computer, or you can print them out to write on later.




http://library.nycenet.edu/  -this is the homepage for the school's library, with tons of useful resources from our Media Specialist, Ms. Aponte.




http://sheppardsoftware.com  - tons of activities in different subjects, especially helpful for pre-K and kindergarten students – check out the PreKindergarten & Kindergarten section.
